Features of wooden countertops
This variety of wooden countertops are made from a chipboard that acts as the support and core of the countertop and, using industrial machinery and special adhesives, a decorative HPL sheet coating is made. This is a highly resistant material that has a protective treatment that guarantees preservation and protection against scratches or other possible damage and heat resistance of up to 180 degrees. The front edge finish is finished with 8mm edges. This machining process is known as postforming, which is the gluing of the HPL in a curve carried out at high temperatures.

The endings and finishes
The finishes of wooden countertops can be covered with the same HPL material or with aluminum sheets also in the joints between boards when they form an "L".
Between the counter and the kitchen wall we placed a "Copete" to avoid water getting into the back of the furniture. Everything was very well protected with silicone so that water did not penetrate, although the wood has a special anti-humidity treatment, it is not a bad idea.
