Custom closet interiors

The materials we use to manufacture the interiors of custom-made wardrobes can be of different types:

Melamine or stratified laminates are the most recommended for the interior of the cabinets.

These materials are durable, easy to clean and cheaper than natural veneer.

There are melamines that can imitate all types of wood.

There are also melamines available in colors and imitating different textures, one widely used is the imitation of the textile texture.

We manufacture in our carpentry shop in Barcelona and there are no intermediaries, our wood suppliers are from Barcelona and the origin of the raw material is mainly national or from the European community with a certificate of environmental sustainability and GUARANTEED.

Wood for custom furniture

To make custom furniture, depending on the type and location where it is installed, different types of wood are used:

Normally, when making wardrobes and dressing rooms, for the interiors we recommend making the internal structure, shelves and drawers with chipboard finished in melamine, for different reasons, price and quality.

There are different qualities and finishes, don't be fooled. We use top quality materials for the manufacture of the cabinets and melamine finishes. You can choose between plain white, textured, coloured or imitation wood finishes in a wide variety of colours.

For a higher quality and more resistant piece of furniture, MDF boards are also used, which have a more compact core. The finishes can also be in colours, veneered in Formica or with natural and varnished wood veneers. This product has a slightly higher price and is recommended for specific places.

For other furniture installed in places with high humidity conditions, for example toilets, custom furniture can be made with plywood panels. There are different types and qualities that have the characteristic of being very light as well as resistant. They are widely used to make furniture in caravans and camper vans.

Doors for custom furniture

The finishes can be wood, glass or metal. There are different options, the most common are traditional swing doors, swinging like any common interior door, installed with hinges embedded in the carpentry, with the option of having these cushioned.

Another very practical option for large dressing rooms and wardrobes is sliding doors, which are installed with a bearing system on metal guides, which move laterally and do not take up space in the room.

Colonial solid wood furniture

We manufacture custom-made furniture of all types from solid and varnished wood.

When we talk about furniture made entirely of solid wood, nowadays these jobs are only carried out for very specific and special furniture since they have a very high price.

Colonial furniture is furniture pieces that are inspired by the styles and designs of former European colonies, especially during the colonization periods in America, Africa, and Asia. Here are some distinctive features of colonial furniture:

The woods we work with are mahogany, teak and cedar. These woods used to be abundant but are becoming increasingly scarce and are even protected due to deforestation in some areas.

• Colonial dining table: Sturdy and spacious, ideal for family gatherings.
• Straight back chair: With wicker or upholstered seats.
• Colonial sideboard: With drawers and doors for storage.
• Canopy Bed: Ornate and majestic.

In short, colonial furniture combines functionality with classic beauty, and its style is still appreciated in interior decoration today.

We manufacture special furniture

We also manufacture very specific furniture in MDF wood which is then lacquered or varnished.

Making a piece of furniture to be lacquered

In this specific case, we received a request for a quote to carry out the work, and they sent us a very detailed sketch of the piece of furniture they wanted to make to measure.

The first contact is via WhatsApp, quick and fluid, he details the finish he wants for the furniture, photos of the location where it will be installed and other details.

We will respond to you with an approximate quote within a few minutes.

In agreement with the price, we arranged a visit for the next day, checked the measurements and began the work.

We begin to manufacture custom furniture

During the furniture manufacturing process, we keep the client informed of the progress and communicate to make last-minute changes, modifications and possible improvements.

We manufacture the mouldings

For the job we made the mouldings in our workshop, very simple mouldings glued to the surface of the doors and drawer fronts.

Lacquering of custom-made furniture pieces

When all the work is correct and inspected, we dismantle the furniture and send the doors, drawer fronts and side panels to our trusted lacquerer.

Installation of custom furniture

And finally, when everything is ready, we carry out the installation. In just a few hours we finish assembling the custom-made furniture, always trying to cause the least inconvenience within the logic of the renovation. And we carry out the cleaning once the work is finished.
