How to unlock a window?
Does your window not open? First check that the lock works properly. If the locking system is broken or does not work, there are several solutions depending on the model. If it is a recessed lock, you will have to remove the handle and try to force the internal mechanism with a tool.
If you have an external closure, remove the hardware that blocks the opening.
If the problem is not with the closure, it is likely that the window sash is stuck in the frame. In this case, use a spatula or a flat tool and pry from the sides, top, bottom and mouth of the window, being careful not to damage the wood. Little by little, it will open.
